Great atmosphere and a lovely place for a dinner. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and their service was awesome. We were welcomed by Chris who made sure we enjoyed our evening there, stopped by multiple times to check if we needed anything, took lovely pictures of us and made sure we made the most of our night there. Food was tasteful and we did not have to wait long for it. Would definitely visit again!
Terra moderna is a very quiet and cosy place. We have come for dinner, all dishes were beautiful presented and the taste was amazing. Pasta is a must if you visit but the beef tartare was outstanding!! Would definitely go back and bring friends to the restaurant.
Had an amazing and unexpected lunch in this little hidden gem in Belside Park Sunday. Trying to take shelter from the rain, i went in and was greeted by Chris, shown to my table and ordered a tea. He was very polite and professional and walked me through the menu and options and i went with the oven baked provola as a starter and the truffle tagliatelle as a main. Amazing food, 5/5 stars. And the service was impecable. Will return for sure.

We had a wonderful dinner yesterday at Terra Moderna. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff are both welcoming and highly professional. The menu is original and thoughtfully curated, with exceptionally fresh ingredients—especially the vegetables. You can truly taste the skill and imagination of the Italian chef. The perfumes and flavours of Italy are brought together in a perfect harmony of taste and fragrance. I had the spaghetti with anchovies and bottarga—simply outstanding: full of flavour and perfectly cooked. All in all, it was a delightful experience. Great atmosphere for a dinner with friends and very nice and original Mediterranean food. The place is a hidden sweet spot in Swiss Cottage. The food was perfect, every dish we have tried was packed with flavors and made of fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding, we were served by Chris who was making sure we are well looked after. The place got busy late in the evening, so make sure you reserve a table on the weekend to secure this great experience.
Visited Terra Moderna for the first time on Saturday and absolutely loved it. The restaurant is gorgeous with minimalist but cosy decor, the ambience is perfect. Our Maitre D Chris was completely charming and the service was at a perfect pace. Background music was just right too. The food is really excellent, the menu is small which we always prefer but also with really interesting choices, everything is fresh and interesting. We had cocktails, 3 courses, wine & coffee & couldn’t fault any of it. Before we left we booked a table for our next visit.
